Notice to all members:

February is ‘Most Meritorious Month’

Definition of Most Meritorious is as follows ‘the heaviest fish/shark on the lightest line’

Eg. 30kg SBT on 10kg line is a 3:1 capture
60kg SBT on 15kg line is a 4:1 capture

The higher the fish weight vs line class ratio the more meritorious the capture.

Fishing will commence on 1st February and concludes Feb 28 with a social afternoon and bbq at midday with presentation at 1:30pm at the WOLGFC club rooms

Prize categories are as follows:

Most Meritorious gamefish – Senior and Junior (under 16)

Most Meritorious game shark – Senior and Junior (under 16)

(Blue shark, Gummy and school shark are not eligible for this competion)

Club local waters only – Apollo Bay through to Port MacDonnell and all waters in between.

All captures must be weighed on certified scales and recorded in the official club weigh books
